Christmas is almost here!

Hey everyone. So, there are only 3 days until Christmas and I finally finished making all my presents. Just in the nick of time too. :) I will probably make a video tomorrow of all the presents but I won't post it until after everyone gets their gifts so there are no spoilers. Today, Kiely got some presents from my sister. She got a snowman toy and a dress. She's scared of the toy and wanted to get the dress off. But she looks so cute in it. She's the cutest puppy anyways.

She had some fun in the snow today. I let her outside and she was running around in it. When she came back in, she jumped on my cousin and got her all wet. LOL Also, I made a art journal page for a swap on swap-bot. The name of the swap was "Try Something New" and I definitely did. I made little clay ladybugs and modge podged the whole page. I used tissue paper to texture the page and I put a quote that I thought was fitting. I hope the recipient likes it. Also, the Fall semester is done and I passed all my classes. Out of 4 courses, 3 were As! Spring 2013 starts January 14. I'm taking Life Span Development, Medical Office Procedures, Public Speaking (my Mom laughed when I told her this), Word Processing, and Human Biology. So that's 5 courses and a lot of them are morning classes. I don't usually do good in the morning so hopefully this semester goes alright. Well that's it for today. Fall 2012 Coming to a Close

Hey, everyone. I haven't posted in a little while so I thought I'd post real quick. I have been doing a lot of crafting yet but haven't taken pics of them yet. I've made cards, charms and some other stuff for swaps. I'll take pictures later and post them. Anyway, the Fall 2012 semester is going to be ending soon. Only 2 more weeks! This semester flew by. I'm still doing really good in my classes. I'm doing some final assignments in my classes and preparing for finals. There is a final for my coding class and I have to do a presentation in math. I haven't heard anything about a final in Accounting Fundamentals or keyboarding so I don't think I have any. Just gotta finish all the assignments and I'm done. Oh, and there is something else coming up soon. CHRISTMAS!! I've started making stuff for my family for Christmas. I have come to realize during this process that my family is too big. I am making something for everyone and that is like 15 people. It's fun though. I'm also working on swaps and some clay things for a YouTube contest. I'm almost done with those. Just going to make 3 more things I'll post pictures and the YouTube video I make when everything is done. ALright, that's it for now. Another Card

Hey. I thought I would post again since I wanted to enter the Paper Playtime Anything Goes contest. About a week or two ago, I made a birthday card for my grandma.

Here it is:

This is the front of the card. I used Kate's ABCs for the flower pot. I put the same wide ribbon used on Kiely's page around the bottom of the card. I put some cream colored paper behind the ribbon and pot to make it look like the pot is sitting on a windowsill and then a square of blue is behind that to look like the sky behind it. I layered that on a striped paper and then onto the card back that is the same blue color. I also tied a bow of ribbon around the base of the pot. I glossy accented the flowers too.

Here is the inside of the card. I used George and Basics Shapes  for the sentiment. I used a very pale blue  for the font and then the same striped paper for the shadow. I also added an envelope to the inside since My mom was sending this with a gift card.

We have already sent the card to my grandma and she loved it. She's showing it off to everyone. I'm going to get the Thanksgiving one ready to ship too. I wish it was going to get there by Thanksgiving but that's not gonna happen since it's tomorrow. Anyways, I hope you like this card. TTFN. Ta ta for now.

Showing PBS Some Love!

Hey, everyone. WOW! I can't believe how fast this semester has gone. Only 3 more weeks of class. I did advisement already. Lots of new classes coming in Spring. Right now, I'm on Thanksgiving break until next Monday. I'm doing really well in all my classes. Nothing less than a B.

As for today, I make some charms from clay and did some scrapping. There is a polymer clay contest on YouTube that I really wanted to enter so I made some charms for it. I've working on the Teletubbies for a while. I made Tinky Winky and La La last week and today I made Dipsy and Po. They turned out alright. I wanted to make sure that Po was slightly smaller than the rest. He was my favorite Teletubby when I was little.

Since Teletubbies was a show on PBS, I tried to think of another PBS show that I could use since the contest needs at least 5 charms. I was originally going to make Clifford the Big Red Dog but I was thinking of a show that I watched when I was younger and came up with The Big Comfy Couch. I was always watching it when I was in the hospital. I think I even had a Molly doll. So I made a chibi Loonetta holding a chibi Molly doll. I think it is by far the cutest charm I have made so far.

Lastly, I have been wanting to make a baby book for Kiely for a while but I don't print pictures very often so I didn't have any pics to put in it. Recently, I was in a swap that required pictures so I printed some pics of Kiely while I was printing pics for the swap. Now, I can finally make a baby book for Kiely. Today, I started making the book. I already have a book with chipboard pages that I won last Scrapbook day from Scrapbook.com and I'm using that for her book. I jest made the title page today.

I used two Cricut cartridges for this page. Kiely's name is cut using Kate's ABCs. I just discovered the Cricut Craft Room so I used that to weld the letters together. The dog is cut using my newest cartridge, Create a Critter. I tried to make the dog look like Kiely right down to the pink collar with white spots. I also put her in a little pink shirt. I think the pink damask paper is by Pink Paisley I put a wide strip of white ribbon across the middle and added a flower that I inked with pink ink. You can't see it in the picture, but I put glossy accents on Kiely's nose and eyes. I'll probably work on some more pages this week since I have no school. If I do, I'll post pics for you. Thanksgiving's Coming!

Hey. I haven't written in a while. Been busy with school and making things for swaps. Today, I though I share a card that I made. It's a Thanksgiving card I made for my grandparents.

This is the outside of the card. The card base is brown cardstock. I layered foil paper and then another square of the brown cardstock. I cut a tree on orange cardstock. The tree is from my Heritage cartridge. I inked it with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo ink. I also cut a bunch of small leaves out of green, yellow, and orange and scattered them along the bottom and placed a few in the tree. I inked the leaves a little bit too.

Here's the inside of the card. I layered the same foil and brown paper and then stamped the sentiment on the same orange that the tree was cut from.Hope you like it. I'll try to post some more stuff soon. I might make some things with clay tomorrow. TTFN Ta ta for now.

Back to Normal Life

Hey everyone. So the Olympics are now over. Boo! I loved watching them. So happy that USA won the medal count. We won a total of 104 medals, 46 of them gold! Awesome!!! Way to go everyone on Team USA. You all did great. Misty and Kerri, of course, won gold number 3. Gabby won gold for all around in gymnastics. Michael is now the most decorated Olympian. And Jenn, who is a local Olympian, won gold. I also discovered that the Olympics has BMX bike racing. This got me thinking why there isn't trick riding for cycling and skateboarding. There is snowboarding at the Winter Olympics so we should definitly have freestyle cycling and skateboarding in Summer Olympics. It looks like Shaun White is trying to get them into the 2016 Olympics so I hope he succeeds. I would love to see that. That will be up there with Beach Volleyball in my must sees.

On another note, school is stating in about 2 weeks. I always get really nervous right before the semesters start. Not really sure why. Guess it's just going to new classes, meeting new, people, and the possibility that I might fail. The semester starts Aug 27th. Before that I have to get my books and everything. Luckily, this time, I got my financial aid in ahead of time so it will be all covered when I get it at the campus store.

Another new thing is that I have gotten back into swaps. So far I've only done some simple ones like email ones and stuff but I have just signed up for a new Hunger Games swap. What it is is that we make chunky pages representing a certain district. The current one is District 10. I missed the first 2 but I'm probably gonna make them anyway either to trade or just for fun. I've already made mine even though the swap has not started yet. I made a video of them which you can see here. They turned out really cool. I practiced my polymer clay making and the charms I made are so neat. I hope whoever gets them will like them. Well that's it for now. TTFN. Ta ta for now.

Go Team USA!

I know they have been on for a few days but I'm loving watching the Olympics. So happy that our Women's Gymnastics Team won gold. Hopefully Gabby and Aly can win some medals. A little disappointed that Jordan will not be competing with them. My favorite sport to watch is Beach Volleyball. Go Kerri and Misty!!Well, that's it for now. TTFN Ta ta for now.

Online Games

I have been playing a game online called Neopets for almost 10 years. I decided to search the web for more games like Neopets a week ago and found two really good ones. They are Mara Pets and Powerpets. They are both really fun.Mara Pets is very similar to Neopets. On Mara Pets, you can unlock avatars and the pets are very similar to Neopets. I have a Knutt, a Speiro, and a Feliz. I love my Speiro cause he looks like Buckbeak from Harry Potter. I even names him Witherwings. :) On Powerpets, you adopt real species of animals. The first animal I adopted of course was a camel. Love my camel! I also have a Loris. He's so cute. In my opinion, the games are better on Powerpets. I just wish that there were avatars on Powerpets too. Another awesome thing about Powerpets is that you can help earn money for real organizations that help animals. I love that since my baby girl Jasmine Rose came from the Humane Society. The best part of both of these sites that Neopets doesnt have is a list of things that we can do and when we can do it. For Neopets I had to find a seperate site for this. Well, anyway, if you wanna try either of these sites out, I'll post some banners below so you can go sign up. Feeling Blah

Have you ever had that moment where you think about something you can't change and you just wanna cry? I have. I'm just thinking of all the horrible stuff that's happened these past few months. There are so many things I would change if I could. That's my quick rant of the day. TTFN ta ta for now.

Possible Career Change

This is gonna be a rant about my past and present career dreams. When I was really little, I dreamed of being a ballerina. I soon realized I can not dance. Next was zookeeper or zoologist. So I majored in biology. Wow! That was way to hard. My brain can not process all that science. Next I wanted to major in Fine Arts and become a photography. I decided to pick a major that will get me a job quicker. Now I am majoring in medical office technology. I was reading one of my textbooks that discussed career opportunities available with this major. One is an oncologist assistant. How perfect is that. I think I know a thing or two about oncology. So currentlythat is where I'm heading, occupationally speaking. I will post a vlog once I get my computer back. TTFN ta ta for now.

Day 2 Done

Day 2 of the semester is done. I was suppose to have keyboarding this morning but the bus did not show. I had medical terminology tonight. Its usually 2 hrs and 45 mins but we only went over the syllabus so we left after 10 mins. One of my nephews had a tooth pulled today so he was acting kinda funny. Well thats it for not. Back to School!

Hey, guys. I went back to school today. I started at 2:40pm for my English course. We just went over the syllubus and met the teacher. Got out at 3:55pm. My 2nd class was at 6:30pm and it was MicroComputer Applications. What all that means is learning how to use Words, Excel, and something called Access. Not sure what that is yet. We will also learn about PowerPoint too.I do have one online course that I have been working on. Thats my Medical Office Procedures course. Printed some stuff and took an orientation test so far. Will get more into the medical stuff tomorrow. I posted another vlog entry this morning before I went to class if you wanna check it out. It's very short and not much is said. New Vid

Hey, everyone. Just wanted to make a quick post. I added a new video on my channel. It should be up soon. It takes forever to process and I'm writing this while YouTube processes my video. The video is a haul video about my shopping trip today. I will have a longer blog entry tomorrow after school. I may have a vlog entry too before school. Eeek! I'm so nervous. I hate beginning of the semester. I get so weirded out thinking about if I'll miss a class or go to the wrong room. Well I'll talk more about school tomorrow after I've actually done it. School's Almost Here!

OMG! I can't believe school starts in 2 days. I bought my textbooks today. Yea the bookstore is open on Sundays. I was surprised too. Anyway, the books cost over $400! Good thing my financial aid covered it. So now I have to get my backpack already for my classes on Tuesday. Good thing is that my first class doesn't srtart until 2:40pm. I think I will be doing my first vlog entry later today. I've become obsessed with watching vlogs so I want to start my own. I won't abandon those who read this blog. I just had some exciting news to share. I will probably write again later. I was watching YouTube videos last night and one of my favorite channels is giving away a Vagabond! Squirrelly Sister?

Hello everyone. Had a pretty boring day today. Watched one kid today and posted some old videos to YouTube. The reason I am writing anything today is I was wondering how to get me a Squirrelly Sister. I watch all these videos about people getting and sending some great stuff to their Squirrelly Sister and I want one. Does anyone have one and how do I get one? I Love My Cricut!!

Hey there. As some may know, I got a Cricut for Christmas. It's the orginal but I still love it. I have been active on the Cricut messageboard too. I love doing swaps on it. I did crafty swaps before but kinda became a flaker so I have to wait a few months to go back to the old sites. So I have started swapping on the CMB and one of the swaps I signed up for was a Wishlist RAK. I sent my stuff to my partner and I received my package yesterday. What I got nearly took my breath away. I got the Heritage cartridge for my Cricut. It is the cartridge I wanted the most. I'd show you pictures but I will be doing a video on it as soon as I have done some projects with it. Anyway, that's all I wanted to say today. Updates!

Hey guys. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. I will tell you everything that has been going on with me. The biggest thing is the addition to the family! Her name is Kiely and she is the cutest little puppy ever! She is a teacup chihuahua. I got her in October. She was 10 weeks then so she is about 5 months old now. She has changed so much. She's bigger and so are her ears. Below is her first picture and her most recent picture:

Isn't she adorable? Even with the happy addition, we did have a loss before hand. My first kitty ever passed away. Violet passed away from cancer. She was 14 years old. She lived with the cancer for about 2 years before she finally passed away. I miss her everyday. Anyone who knows me knows how much I love kitties and she was the first kitty I ever got and the ironic thing is is that I got her when I was battling cancer. I miss you, Violet. I'm glad you are in a better place and are not in pain anymore.

Also, this past semester was really rough on me. My major was biology which I discovered was not for me. Way too hard for me. SO I switched my major to Medical Office Technology so I can get a job where I can stay home. How awesome would that be. After I get my MOT certificate, I plan on getting an Associates in Fine Arts since I would love to be a photographer. Can't you tell from all the pet photos. Pretty good, huh? I have also been posted videos like crazy on YouTube so you can check them out at my YouTube channel. I post all kinds of videos like my pets, my nephews, Wiccan videos, and scrapping videos.
