Colorful OWH Cards

Hey everyone. It's another OWH Monday. This weeks sketch is Sketch #179. I loved working with this sketch so much that I made two cards using it. They are both very colorful cards since I love working with colors.

Here's the first one:

For the first card I used pinks and purples. I also matted all the pieces with black to make them pop more. I also added a sentiment to the middle so this can be used as a "Thank You" card. The middle block was distressed using Tattered Rose. I'm not sure who made the polka dot or the pink patterned paper as I got them in a swap and really wanted to use them.

I also created another card using the sketch but it has a different color combination.

This one is using warm colors except for the blue that I added to make it look more like the sun in the sky. The sun paper is also from a swap so I don't know who made it. I stamped "Hello" on it so it can just be a card to write home with and added a digital stamp that I colored with markers. The middle block was distressed with Dried Marmalade. The red polka dotted cardstock is the same that I always use. If you check out some of my other posts, you'll see this kind of paper a lot.

So those are my two cards for this week. I hope you liked them. I had so much fun with this weeks sketch. The sketches are getting a bit harder to come up with ideas for.
