Long Time No Blog

Hey, guys. Sorry I haven't posted in a while. Been very busy with school and swaps. The Spring semester is almost over. Just 4 more weeks. I'm doing good in almost all my classes.

I've also been doing a lot with polymer clay. I've learned some new techniques like shading and using TLS. I'm still trying to perfect these though. I'm also hoping to start making some resin pieces. I just need to get a mold release and then I'm going to start. I've made some but they didn't come out that great.

I've also joined several sites and done some swapping on them. I still swap on Swap-Bot but I'm branching out. I've done a couple of swaps on Mini Album Scraps as I have previously posted. Right now, I'm working on a mini album that's about my partner. I have also completed one swap on Craftsters! It was a Monster High swap.

Here are the things that I sent her. I made a Draculaura chibi, earrings and necklace with the logo, Neptuna keychain, Frankie Stein ATC, and a birthday card since it was her daughters birthday. I also made a box to send the clay stuff in and sent a stamp set. This is actually the picture she posted since I forgot to take pictures before mailing. She said her daughter loved everything. :)

Here are the things I received. I got a beautiful hat that's very glittery and has the logo on the front, a coaster set made of perler beads, a Frankie Stein necklace (which has been added to my necklace collection that is displayed on my camel) a cool cell phone strap or ornament, some extra goodies, and last but not least, a sweater for Kiely. It's so cute. It has Clawdeen's skull on it.

I also just joined a Yahoo club called artforthecreativemind. I joined it less then a week ago and I'm already enjoying it. I joined my first swap on there. I joined it because they swap chunky pages and I love chunky pages! There aren't a lot of chunky page swaps on Swap-Bot anymore. Of course, my first swap in the new group is a chunky page. Can't wait to make it and get mine. I'll try to post again in a couple days. Wednesdays are packed with school so I can't tomorrow. 

Oh, also since I mentioned her, here is my camel with all her pretty necklace. This is also the home to my new hat.
