Thanksgiving's Coming!

Hey. I haven't written in a while. Been busy with school and making things for swaps. Today, I though I share a card that I made. It's a Thanksgiving card I made for my grandparents.

This is the outside of the card. The card base is brown cardstock. I layered foil paper and then another square of the brown cardstock. I cut a tree on orange cardstock. The tree is from my Heritage cartridge. I inked it with Tim Holtz's Vintage Photo ink. I also cut a bunch of small leaves out of green, yellow, and orange and scattered them along the bottom and placed a few in the tree. I inked the leaves a little bit too.

Here's the inside of the card. I layered the same foil and brown paper and then stamped the sentiment on the same orange that the tree was cut from.Hope you like it. I'll try to post some more stuff soon. I might make some things with clay tomorrow. TTFN Ta ta for now.

Back to Normal Life

Hey everyone. So the Olympics are now over. Boo! I loved watching them. So happy that USA won the medal count. We won a total of 104 medals, 46 of them gold! Awesome!!! Way to go everyone on Team USA. You all did great. Misty and Kerri, of course, won gold number 3. Gabby won gold for all around in gymnastics. Michael is now the most decorated Olympian. And Jenn, who is a local Olympian, won gold. I also discovered that the Olympics has BMX bike racing. This got me thinking why there isn't trick riding for cycling and skateboarding. There is snowboarding at the Winter Olympics so we should definitly have freestyle cycling and skateboarding in Summer Olympics. It looks like Shaun White is trying to get them into the 2016 Olympics so I hope he succeeds. I would love to see that. That will be up there with Beach Volleyball in my must sees.

On another note, school is stating in about 2 weeks. I always get really nervous right before the semesters start. Not really sure why. Guess it's just going to new classes, meeting new, people, and the possibility that I might fail. The semester starts Aug 27th. Before that I have to get my books and everything. Luckily, this time, I got my financial aid in ahead of time so it will be all covered when I get it at the campus store.

Another new thing is that I have gotten back into swaps. So far I've only done some simple ones like email ones and stuff but I have just signed up for a new Hunger Games swap. What it is is that we make chunky pages representing a certain district. The current one is District 10. I missed the first 2 but I'm probably gonna make them anyway either to trade or just for fun. I've already made mine even though the swap has not started yet. I made a video of them which you can see here. They turned out really cool. I practiced my polymer clay making and the charms I made are so neat. I hope whoever gets them will like them. Well that's it for now. TTFN. Ta ta for now.

Go Team USA!

I know they have been on for a few days but I'm loving watching the Olympics. So happy that our Women's Gymnastics Team won gold. Hopefully Gabby and Aly can win some medals. A little disappointed that Jordan will not be competing with them. My favorite sport to watch is Beach Volleyball. Go Kerri and Misty!!Well, that's it for now. TTFN Ta ta for now.

Online Games

I have been playing a game online called Neopets for almost 10 years. I decided to search the web for more games like Neopets a week ago and found two really good ones. They are Mara Pets and Powerpets. They are both really fun.Mara Pets is very similar to Neopets. On Mara Pets, you can unlock avatars and the pets are very similar to Neopets. I have a Knutt, a Speiro, and a Feliz. I love my Speiro cause he looks like Buckbeak from Harry Potter. I even names him Witherwings. :) On Powerpets, you adopt real species of animals. The first animal I adopted of course was a camel. Love my camel! I also have a Loris. He's so cute. In my opinion, the games are better on Powerpets. I just wish that there were avatars on Powerpets too. Another awesome thing about Powerpets is that you can help earn money for real organizations that help animals. I love that since my baby girl Jasmine Rose came from the Humane Society. The best part of both of these sites that Neopets doesnt have is a list of things that we can do and when we can do it. For Neopets I had to find a seperate site for this. Well, anyway, if you wanna try either of these sites out, I'll post some banners below so you can go sign up. Feeling Blah

Have you ever had that moment where you think about something you can't change and you just wanna cry? I have. I'm just thinking of all the horrible stuff that's happened these past few months. There are so many things I would change if I could. That's my quick rant of the day. TTFN ta ta for now.

Possible Career Change

This is gonna be a rant about my past and present career dreams. When I was really little, I dreamed of being a ballerina. I soon realized I can not dance. Next was zookeeper or zoologist. So I majored in biology. Wow! That was way to hard. My brain can not process all that science. Next I wanted to major in Fine Arts and become a photography. I decided to pick a major that will get me a job quicker. Now I am majoring in medical office technology. I was reading one of my textbooks that discussed career opportunities available with this major. One is an oncologist assistant. How perfect is that. I think I know a thing or two about oncology. So currentlythat is where I'm heading, occupationally speaking. I will post a vlog once I get my computer back. TTFN ta ta for now.

Day 2 Done

Day 2 of the semester is done. I was suppose to have keyboarding this morning but the bus did not show. I had medical terminology tonight. Its usually 2 hrs and 45 mins but we only went over the syllabus so we left after 10 mins. One of my nephews had a tooth pulled today so he was acting kinda funny. Well thats it for not.
