Harry Potter's Over

Wahh! Just saw the last Harry Potter. It was so sad. I'll be seeing it again with my cousins when they come back from Arizona. Definitely not a movie for the little ones but a great movie!

Mother's Day is Coming!

Mother's day is coming and I finished some stuff for my mom. I made her a card and a take out box to put her gift in.  That hasn't arrived yet but hopefully it will get here before Mother's Day. Here's what they look like:

First Bath Day

It has been one week since I got Remy for my birthday! I clean cages every week and give baths so today was bath day! I took some pictures of him taking a bath. He really loved it. There was not much dust in the bowl when he was done. He is starting to warm up to me. He lets me pet him and he comes to me when I come see him. He loves dandelion drops a lot more than Nathaniel did. He also went in his ball today when I cleaned cages. He did a lot of exploring. He introduced himself to the girls and they seemed to get along with him. There was no banging of the balls. I got my present from Amber and it was a $20 gift card to Borders so today I went shopping and bought a 3 book set of Percy Jackson books. Yeah! A very Percy Jackson birthday. I got my Olympia camera on Monday and I took a roll of film with it. The Minolta film was great. I'll post some prints from it later. Maybe Monday or Tuesday. Happy Birthday to me!

Yeah!! Today is my birthday! And I have the best sister in the world. My sister got me a baby chinchilla for my birthday. He is so cute. His name is Remy after the rat from Ratatouille. Sticking with the Disney theme. I'll post some pics once I can get him to sit still long enough. :) Also from from my brother and sister-in-law I got a card full of lottery tickets. Out of about 10 tickets I won $4. I went shopping at JoAnns with it. From Mom I received Scott Cunninghams Wiccan Guide for the Solitary Practioner, The Jungle by Clive Cussler, and Percy Jackson DVD. From my grandma and grandpa I got $10, which was more JoAnn's spending money. Also in the mail today, I got my new camera. Wow is it awesome! It has so many buttons on it. It's called a Minolta Maxxum 3xi. I already have been using it to take pics of the cats and degus. I have another camera on the way. This one is a Olympia. That's it for now. TTFN Ta ta for now!

Little Soccer Player

Couple things in the paper recently that have been interesting. Finley was in the paper for soccer! He is so cute. He was in the paper twice but this one was the better picture and he was actually named in the caption. On a more somber note, a classmate in my english class passed a way on Monday. I didn't know him very well but it's pretty sad. That's all I wanted to share for now. TTFN Ta ta for now.

President's Day

Happy President's Day! It' actually tomorrow but I won't have time to post tomorrow. I haven't posted in a while so I'll give a bit of an update. Had to miss a few days of school for doctor's appointments but they are all done now. I'm in the middle of a 4 day weekend right now. Monday and Tuesday I babysit though. I'm currently swamped with homework. Have some math homework, an English essay, photo assignment, and journal entry for photography. Just watched Sweeney Todd. That is a weird movie. It's like a musical/horror movie! FYI: My birthday is coming up! I really want scrapbook supplies and Gamestop gift cards since the Nintendo DS will be coming out next month. I've burned Mom some cds recently that she listens to all the time. The first was The Pogues. She heard a Pogues song on a car commercial. The second was The Civil Wars. They are really great! Also been catching up on some of my hobbies. Made a scrapbook page of Thyme today and have been working on my family tree.That's about it for now. TTFN Ta ta for now.

Rayographs

Had photography class again yesterday.  I brought home my rayographs and we made some paper negatives.

Mine are of Jasmine Rose. I'll get those on Monday. In photography class we also have to make an altered book journal. I found a book and painted it.

Inside the book we are to place journal entries and our assignments. The first journal entry is "10 things I know to be true but have no proof. Here are my pages:

Photography Class

I have now been going to school for 1 week. Yeah! My favorite is my photography class, of course. I didn't have a 35mm film camera so I had to buy one. I got my Holga 135 today along with the photo paper and 10 rolls of black and white film. I purchased all of it from Freestyle Photographic Suppiles. I think I am in love with this site. Also, during last nights photography class, we worked in the darkroom making photograms. It was so fun! I have never worked in a darkroom before. For my photograms, I used a cd, a packing peanut, clothespin, and a rubber glove. If I get to bring them home tomorrow, I will post them. They are really neat. I hope we get to taking pictures soon, however doing anything in the darkroom is great. It's like magic when the photo appears. Today was English and we discussed the difference between men and women in sport's salaries. It was for critical thinking. Tomorrow is back to Psych, Student Success, and Math with Photography at night. TTFN, Ta Ta for Now.

Spring 2011 semester

The semester has started and I have now attended all of my classes at least once. One Tuesday, was English and we did not do much but meet the instructor and go over the syllabus. On Wednesday, I started the day with Psychology. It was about the same. Meet instructor, get a syllabus. Next was my Student Success Seminar. Here I got my first assignment! I have to bring in something that defines me. lol. Mom says I should bring in her cow book that has everything or Surgy bear who is bad luck because he always causes surgery. After Student Success was Math. Eww! I got some assignments here too. Read a chapter from my Math book and sign up for a program online. Both are done and ready for tomorrow. Last night was Photography. Yeah! Thanks to this class, I have a new Holga 135 camera on its way to me. :) Today was English again and we read a little from the English book. Tomorrow is the busy day again with Psych, Student Success, and Math. Photography is only Mon. and Wed. This weekend I will get to go shopping for school supples and stuff for Imbolc. Classes Coming

Ahh! Classes are starting tomorrow! I am kinda wigging out. I am so nervous. I  have my books so I have been looking them over a bit. I got my school ID. On Tuesday I have one class: English Composition. I'm also taking Psychology, General Math, and Black and White Photography. I am required to take to take a Student Success Seminar for 5 weeks. I'm really excited about the photography class. I love taking photos! Next time I post will be after I take some classes. TTFN Ta Ta for Now!

Advisement and Registration!

Today I had advisement and registration for JCC. Now I have my class schedule and will start class on Tuesday.  I'm excited but also a little nervous. I haven't been to school is 7 years. Hopefully in 4 years I will have my bachelors and off to get my masters degree in biology. TTFN Ta Ta for Now.
